The next door neighbor has this little tiny spec of a dog that barks all night long. It’s been doing this for at least a week or two now. It’ll wake me up at random at night and I’ll stay awake most of the night and wake up feeling like I partied way too much the night before. Since it’s a little tiny dog, its bark is really annoying because it seems high pitched.

It was to no surprise when I slept through my alarm on Thursday. Everyone at work has seen me looking like crap and I finally told them why, “The neighbors dog won’t let me sleep.” I woke up at 9 a.m., slept right through my alarm and called in, “I’m running really late!” My co-worker told me to hurry there was an emergency at work.

I showered quickly, put on whatever, and left with my hair still wet. I got to work and on my desk was a flyer that said, “We’re kidnapping you at 10, so be ready.”

Both my bosses had planned to kidnap all of us for the day. Jes, one of my bosses took us to Kim’s house where we had a homemade breakfast waiting for us. Kim, my other boss, made us banana french toast, cheese grits, strawberries, mimosa’s with raspberries and pineapple guava juice. The table was decorated with magazines for each and everyone of us as well as a hallmark card.

I love where I work! Those mimosa’s rocked!

We’re moving to a new studio in the next couple of months and we were all getting together to give our opinion. “What do you think? We need you input.” They went around the table letting each one of us give an opinion.

It’s so awesome. I love the girls I work with. Being a part of this huge change to me is really special and I feel like I’m just a part of something huge. This summer is going to be busy due to the move and all the clients we have lined up, but it’s also going to be great! Our new studio is almost twice the size of our current one!

I can’t wait!
