If you are thinking about making plans for Spring Break or a summer vacation, Mexico might be a good destination.

A low-cost Mexican airline is starting service out of Austin flying non-stop to Cancún, Guadalajara, León, Monterrey, Puebla and Queretaro.

Mexico’s VivaAerobus is a no frills airline and will have a new terminal with no jet bridges, baggage handling, gates, or ticket counters.

Tickets are set to go on sale in a few weeks starting at just $9.99. Flights are scheduled to start in March. (article here)

So living in Dallas, this really caught my attention. I have family all over Mexico and you can’t beat 10 bucks.

But the whole “No jet bridges, baggage handling, gates, or ticket counters” makes me wonder!! I mean seriously? WTH? It’s like the ghetto of all airlines. I can’t even get on a big ass pick up truck I’m so short, I’d need a step-up from someone to get me on that plane! LOL

“A little help here someone!”

It’s probably like those “afforable” vans that drive to Mexico.  It seats 12, but they fit 20. Thirty minutes into the trip you realize you’re one of the few people that is “SURE” on the van, it’s the middle of August, there’s a heatwave in Texas and the AC is just not working.  Luckily, the guy with the man made wooden cage holding the rooster sat next you.

DAMN IT! :p
