boo-ya-ka!

With basketball season in full swing, you’ll see my mood change according to how the Mavs are playing. That’s just the way I roll.

Don’t worry, it doesn’t completely change me as a person, but every now and then I’ll be blogging about my Mavs. Huge fan over here. Last night was a big game for the Mavs. At about noon I received a text message from the brother, “Mavs play Golden State tonite.” Of course, first thoughts were, “How lucky, I wish i was 17 today, back in my highschool days we didnt have cell phones, we had beepers. . oh sssscuse me, pagers!” LOL

I knew about the game since I’m hooked on the mavs page as it is but tried not to think about it too much. I’m still sore about our loss at the playoffs. (If you’re not first. . .you’re last!) So i went about my day and hung out with the sis at the movies. Came home and Oso was kind of enough to send me a friendly tweet, “We’re kicking the mavs’ asses.”

Well my hair went up and the claws came out let me tell you! LOL, RAWR! I turned on the tube and started to watch. We were loosing by 3 points. I sent a tweet back to confirm that 3 points is hardly kicking ass. Unfortunately, the eyes couldn’t stay awake, I was exhausted and was yawning like crazy. I tried my best but by halftime I was in dreamland.

I ended up missing another one of Oso’s friendly tweets. . .”booya!”

He’s getting bold that Oso. Reminds me of me earlier this year at the playoffs, so sure of that win! “My team RAWKS, we’re gonna win! In YO FACE!”  Friendly competition is always good for the heart!

Oh Happy Day, I woke up this morning to realize the Mavs won last night! WOOHOO. If 3 points is kicking ass, surely 5 points is kicking MAJOR ASS!
