It has been one week to the day since I started my membership at the new gym.

It’s been a pretty interesting week to say in the least. I was in pain for half of it. One of my friends told me to remember that it was weakness leaving my body. Good point. .but damn does weakness leaving the body HURT.

I was resting one day and my sister surprises me with a yoga ball. You know when it’s not a good time to surprise someone with a yoga ball? When they’ve started weight lifting for the first time ever in their lives. I’ve never been on a yoga ball before and I was a bit nervous. I didn’t want to fall off or deflate it or something.

Oddly enough, I love it!! I’ve been using it to stretch out my back every morning and it feels so good!! I highly recommend it to everyone.

So this saga of exercising and eating right continues. I’ve lost weight and I’m stoked about that. At the gym I’m attending you go into a room and work out and then you go into the next one after the speaker announces it’s time to go to the next room. You work out on each weight lifting machine in a closed room where no one is looking at you. It’s really cool so you’re not self-conscious about everyone staring at you. It’s a 30 minute workout circuit. The only thing that gets to me is what the speaker says to move on to the next room. . . “Lets get skinny, GO GO GO!” I mean really?

This past weekend I finally dusted off the cad cam and shot some pictures of my sister. I really need to shoot more. I really enjoy it!
