i smell basketball season

I can’t believe it’s already October.  How did the year go by so fast.

I’m full blown into my busy season and time will just go really fast and on turbo from here until right before Christmas for me.  Kind of a good thing…kind of.

Do you know what I love about October?  Basketball season.  AH YES!  My Mavs will have their first preseason on the 7th.  Yay!  I’m excited about the new coach, Rick Carlisle.  Even though he’s had a year off, I’m hopeful.  Do you think that year off will work for him or against him?  Personally if I had a year off from a computer, I’m sure I’d still know how to type, but I sure would be really slow to get back into the groove of things.  I hope that’s not the case with the new coach.  What made it feel real was watching Dirk on the news yesterday!  *le sigh*  I know you wonder what I see in him, other then his amazing physical talents, the guy is amazingly humble and just overall happy go lucky!  It rocks!

So do you know what I don’t like about October?  That everybody has a freakin’ birthday this month!  I am surrounded by libras!  I tried to do good and buy birthday gifts early and yes I did get some out of the way, but I still have more shopping to do.  There are some people that are really hard to shop for and no matter what you get them, they either have it or buy it right before you’re about to give it to them.  What do you buy that person that’s really hard to shop for?  I’m usually really good and to the “T” when it comes to gifts, but this time I’m stumped.

So any ideas would be spectacular!  What’s the one gift you buy for the person who has everything?
