addicted much..

Do you know why I love December?  I mean besides the big guy…

You know… the one that sees you when you’re sleeping and knows when you’re awake…HA and you thought Google maps was intrusive! :p

No but seriously, May and December are my favorite months in the entire year because it’s usually around the time that the best movies come out at the theater.  I am a movie addict.  I can watch movies all day long.  All kinds…foreign, funny, action packed, comic book related, comedy, drama…I LOVE MOVIES.  This week alone I’ve probably seen more movies than I did in the past two months.  It’s kind of awesome because i have friends calling me as soon as they see a preview making dates with me not to watch a certain movie. LOL, yeah if you want me to see a movie with you, you better call me up ASAP…chances are, i’ll watch it twice…three times if it’s a Disney Cartoon…what can i say, i’m a sucker for PIXAR!

Btw, for those of you who are thinking of getting a blu ray for Christmas…DO IT ALREADY…oh yeah…THAT GOOD! The difference is GINORMOUS. I almost choked on my popcorn whilst watching Ironman on my blue ray!  I had to watch it twice…yes i watch commentaries…especially if Will Ferrel is in the movie (yes i know Will Ferrell wasn’t in Ironman…I’m just saying…)

Anyways back to the movies (spoiler for yes man coming)…I went to see Yes Man recently and there’s this scene where Jim and Zooey (how freakin cool is Zooey Deschanel btw?) go to the airport…no luggage, no plans…just take the first flight and go somewhere totally unexpected to go visit.  You know, I’m going to do that one day, just go to the airport, passport in hand and buy a ticket to the first flight out of there.  How cool would that be?

So upcoming movies I’m excited to see:

Defiance – I’m reading the book. It’s WWII related. ‘Nuff said. I’m addicted to WWII stuff. If you see my library I have pretty much Janet Evanovich, WWII books and Photoshop books. The book is awesome!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – Uh…Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchatt…Love them both!  I love the mystery behind the previews.  I won’t read too much about it online because I’m excited to go and see it and be surprised myself.  The previews kind of remind me of the movie Big Fish (which the book was way better).

Valkyrie – Yeah..u guessed it.  WWII. LOL

Gran Torino – first off, Clint Eastwood is a Gemini like me…his birthday is one day after mine, he’s 50 years older, there’s a connection there, u see it…RIGHT?!   And second…Clint Eastwood is a bad ass. He plays WALT in the movie.  Now that’s a name to be respected.  Doncha think?  Definitely taking Ama to see this one.  She’s my action movie companion.

Notorious – Yes, biggie smalls finally on the big screen…”sometimes ur eyes just hypnotize me!”

Paul Blart: Mall Cop – What can I say, I have the biggest crush on Kevin James. I’d totally marry the guy! He had me at the green IPS uniform. haha

X-Men Orgins-Wolverine – I’m hoping this one doesnt suck like the last XMEN movie. I don’t think it’ll disappoint.  You think anyone would ever be able to play a Wolverine like Jackman. I mean he IS the wolverine, yanno? Anyone else would seem…just wrong for the part!

StarTrek – So I won’t lie.  Never been a star trek fan. I kind of banned UPN just b/c they showed it way too much.  But the director of the movie is J.J. Adams.  To miss any of his work is just…ridiculous. The man is a genius.

Watchmen - This is probably my favoritist…is that a word?…comic book.  It’s just so different from other comic books, very excited about the movie.  Looks kick ass.  10 bucks it’ll be at the imax.
