apa and cad

I always keep pictures framed up on my desk, either at home or at work.  I always update the pictures with the time since I know if I just kept adding I’d have a desk just full of pictures and no where to put my computer and such.

But even though they’re always updated and they change periodically, one little wallet size frame always stays the same.  My favorite picture of my apa and I.  This one never changes.

To the man who:

-never forgets to give me a valentine
-knows my favorite flower by heart and what song to dedicate to me when the mariachis are around
-danced with me on my 4th birthday despite his lack of dancing skills and at every wedding was the first to say yes when the twist came on! hahaha! “Come on baby, let’s do the twist!”
-opens every door including car doors for me
-taught us all how to fish with a can and some fishing string and then upgraded us to fishing poles little by little
-has spent hours on end teaching me about baseball and how to appreciate it
-screams along side with me when the Mavs are loosing and when they’re winning
-taught me that honesty is always the best policy no matter what
-made me love road trips
-taught me to love and respect the ocean
-has traveled with me all over Mexico
-can make eggs go with anything! Eggs a la Apa. LOL
-attended every single one of my dance recitals, band concerts, school awards events and so forth despite them being held during “work” hours
-sings Luis Miguel and ZZTop all within the same hour
-let me cry for hours and listened to me the first time my heart was broken
-will ride any ride on six flags, go bungee jumping and try anything daring and is always excited about it
- occasionally will watch chick flicks with his daughters because in his defense, Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez are hot! LOL
-in my opinion is the best father ever…
