A couple of months ago I was talking to a friend about all the upcoming parties I had in my calendar.
I was telling him how I always wanted a bad ass Halloween party or a theme party. Throw something where it was laid back and fun and not too serious. After heading out to a dive karaoke bar one night with some girl friends, it hit me…I’d throw an ugly Christmas sweater party!
I ran the idea with some friends and we decided to host it together and so I called up the owner of the bar. It’s just this dive of a bar with an awesome karaoke stage, and more sports bar than anything else. I didn’t tell the owner it was an ugly sweater party, just mentioned I wanted to invite x-amount of people and such and such day and I’d go put a deposit for food and drinks. The owner is really laid back cool guy, so it worked out fantastic. I showed up there and i tell him, “Yo Randy, so it’s an ugly Christmas sweater party.” He laughed so hard and told me i was a crazy girl!
Yeah…i kind of am. Crazy in a good way though. 
Many can attest to that. And they all love me anyways!! That’s all that matters, right folks?
So apparently, if you host a party at a bar, most guests want to thank you (with it being the holidays and all as well) with a shot or a beer. Whatever i missed in my college years i definitely made up for Saturday night. I must say, happy holidays to me!!
To me the highlight of the night was Ryan and Chris singing Back Street Boys, “I want it that way.” OMG, these two guys are the best. Funny is awesome, for serious! I laughed so hard! Everyone rocked!!! Hope everyone’s December is going great, happy holidays!
